Dr. Leonard Saxe recently presented to members of the Las Vegas Jewish Community about American Jewish Life and our relationship with Israel. The presentation considered the findings from the Pew study, along with more recent research with those who apply and participate in Birthright Israel, and about how to foster positive Jewish identity and love of Israel.  

Dr. Leonard Saxe is Klutznick Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies and Social Policy at Brandeis University where he directs the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies and the Steinhardt Social Research Institute. He is a social psychologist and teaches research methods and policy analysis to doctoral and masters students. Professor Saxe leads a program of research on Jewish identity, education and socio-demography.
