My name is Katie Brase, I have been involved with JewEL for about four months now and have truly loved the experience. As with anything, I was a bit nervous to attend my first event, but was immediately welcomed into the group. Following that experience, my boyfriend and I decided to attend a couple’s cluster event, one of many exciting activities JewEL puts on each month, and made some lasting friendships. Since that event, we have been involved in numerous Jewish learning experiences, social opportunities and a number of community service activities, where we have been able to meet phenomenal young Jewish professionals who we now consider our dear friends.

My route to JewEL was a bit unique, as I am in the process of converting. It seemed liked the perfect venue to get engaged with the young Jewish community in Las Vegas – and thankfully I was right! Everyone has been more than welcoming and supportive of my journey and it is amazing to experience the comradery of such genuine, like minded individuals.
