My name is Corey Platner and I moved to Las Vegas five years ago from Columbus, Ohio. I am currently employed with Caesars Entertainment in their marketing department. It is a very fast paced career that I enjoy doing every day. In my free time I like to travel, hike, go to concerts, play kickball and of course attend all of the JewEL events. I am an outgoing and upbeat person and I am always interested in getting involved and trying new things.

My girlfriend Katie and I get involved in JewEL four months ago. Katie is currently in the process of converting to Judaism. She has been a big factor in helping me find my faith again and finding Jewish friends in Sin City. Everyone we have met in JewEL so far has been very open to us and we enjoy all the events the group hosts. The first event we attended at the Brooklyn Bowl was very fun and enjoyable. We were both a little nervous to attended but quickly found out that there was nothing to be nervous about. That same night we both signed up for the JewEL softball team and had a blast playing on the team. I am very happy that I made the choice to join JewEL. I look forward to next event after the last one finishes. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who just moved to town or is looking to get involved with an awesome bunch of people.
